Encorate Chrono 500mg Tablet is a controlled-release (Chrono/CR) tablet that contains a combination of Sodium Valproate 333mg and Valproic Acid 145mg, totaling 500mg of valproate derivatives. It is an antiepileptic drug (AED) or anticonvulsant.

Uses: Encorate Chrono 500mg is primarily used to:

• Treat and prevent various types of epileptic seizures (fits), including:
  • Generalized seizures (affecting the entire brain from the start, like tonic-clonic seizures)
  • Partial seizures (starting in one part of the brain)
  • Myoclonic seizures (sudden muscle jerks)
