Description

VERSITOL RETARD-300 MG is an antiepileptic drug (AED) containing Carbamazepine 300mg in a sustained-release or extended-release (Retard/PR) formulation.

Uses: It is primarily used to:

• Treat and prevent various types of epileptic seizures (fits), including generalized tonic-clonic seizures and partial seizures.
• Manage the severe, stabbing facial pain associated with trigeminal neuralgia.
• Control symptoms of bipolar disorder (mania), especially when other medications are ineffective.
• Relieve diabetic nerve pain (diabetic neuropathy) by decreasing abnormal nerve impulses.
