Tradol Injection
Opidol XL 100 Tablet contains Tramadol Hydrochloride 100mg and is manufactured by Deurali Janta Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. This medication is available in Nepal. Other brands of Tramadol Hydrochloride, such as Nemadol, Asidol, and Madol, are also available in capsule and injection forms (50mg and 100mg).

Here’s a breakdown of the typical dosages for Opidol XL 100:
Adults
- Oral (Immediate Release) for Moderate to Severe Pain:
- Chronic Pain: Start with 25 mg by mouth every morning. You can increase the dose by 25-50 mg/day every 3 days, up to 50-100 mg by mouth every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 400 mg/day.
- Acute Pain: Take 50-100 mg by mouth every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 400 mg/day.
- Oral (Extended Release):
- Begin with 100 mg by mouth once daily. The dose can be increased by 100 mg/day every 5 days. Do not exceed 300 mg/day.
- Parenteral (Intramuscular/Intravenous) for Moderate to Severe Pain:
- Administer 50-100 mg every 4-6 hours over 2-3 minutes.
- Postoperative Pain:
- Initially, take 100 mg, followed by 50 mg every 10-20 minutes if necessary, for a total of 250 mg in the first hour (including the initial dose). Thereafter, take 50-100 mg every 4-6 hours, with a total daily dose not exceeding 600 mg.
