Description
SWICH D/S 100 is a double-strength suspension containing Cefpodoxime Proxetil, a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against various bacterial infections.
Uses:
- Treatment of upper and lower respiratory tract infections
- Management of urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Treatment of bacterial skin and soft tissue infections
- Management of middle ear infections (otitis media)
Precautions:
- Complete the entire prescribed course even if symptoms improve
- Use cautiously in patients allergic to cephalosporin antibiotics
- Monitor for symptoms of diarrhea or allergic reaction
- Store the reconstituted suspension in a refrigerator and use within the recommended time
