Description
Silodal 8 Capsule is used to manage symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition where the prostate gland enlarges and causes urinary issues.
Main Use:
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Helps alleviate symptoms such as frequent urination, weak urine stream, and difficulty starting urination.
How It Works:
- Active Ingredient: Silodosin (8 mg)
- Silodosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate.
Common Side Effects:
- Dizziness, headache, diarrhea, nasal congestion, retrograde ejaculation.
Precautions:
- Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver issues.
- May cause a drop in blood pressure when standing.
- Not recommended for women or children.
Dosage:
- Take once daily with food, preferably at the same time each day.
