- Peptic ulcer (duodenal and gastric ulcers)
- H. pylori infection (as part of a combination therapy)
- Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (a condition causing excessive stomach acid)
- Oesophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus)
- Acid-related dyspepsia (indigestion, heartburn)
- NSAID-associated ulceration (ulcers caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
- Prophylaxis of acid aspiration during general anaesthesia
- Erosive oesophagitis (damage to the esophageal lining from acid)
