Description

Mebaspa Tablet (Mebeverine Hydrochloride)

Indications:

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
  • Gastrointestinal (GI) tract spasm

Dosage:

  • Adults:
    • Tablets (135 mg): One tablet three times daily (tid). The dosage may be gradually reduced after several weeks once the desired effect is achieved.
    • Modified-Release Capsules (200 mg): One capsule twice daily (bid).
  • Children: Consult a healthcare professional.

Administration: Oral.

Contraindications:

  • Paralytic ileus.

Precautions: Exercise caution in patients with porphyria or a history of allergic reactions to mebeverine hydrochloride or similar medications.
