Indications

Fubiotic Cream is used for the treatment of:

• Acne vulgaris
• Bacterial skin infections, particularly those caused by Staphylococcus species.

Dosage and Administration

Route: Topical/Cutaneous

Adults and Children: Apply a 2% ointment/cream to the affected area 3-4 times daily until improvement is observed. If a gauze dressing is used, the frequency of application may be reduced to 1-2 times daily.

Contraindications

• Viral skin infections
• Tuberculosis of the skin
• Fungal skin infections
• Hypersensitivity to any component of the cream.

Precautions

• Avoid long-term continuous therapy, especially on the face, in skin folds (flexures and intertriginous areas), and in infants and children.
• Exercise caution when applying near the eyes, as glaucoma may result if the preparation enters the eye.

Interactions

• Synergistic action: May enhance the effect of antistaphylococcal penicillin.
• Antagonism: May reduce the effect of ciprofloxacin.
