Arcyclin 250
Arcyclin 250 Capsule contains 250mg of Tetracycline Hydrochloride and is manufactured by Arya Pharma Lab Pvt. Ltd. It’s an antibiotic used to treat a variety of infections, including acne, Lyme disease, uncomplicated gonorrhea, syphilis, psittacosis, Q fever, pleural effusions, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, lymphogranuloma venereum, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, trachoma, and nongonococcal urethritis. A 500mg capsule is also available.
Description
Take Arcyclin 250 Capsule on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, with a full glass of water, while in an upright position. If you experience gastrointestinal discomfort, you may take it with meals.
Adult Dosing:
- Susceptible Infections: 250-500 mg every 6 hours. Do not exceed 4g per day.
- Acne: 250-500 mg daily, in divided doses, for at least 3 months.
- Syphilis: 500 mg four times daily for 15 days.
- Gonorrhea: 500 mg four times daily for 7 days.
- Vibrio Cholera: 500 mg four times daily for 3 days.
- Brucellosis: 500 mg four times daily for 3 weeks, in combination with streptomycin.
Hepatic Impairment:
If you have liver problems, the maximum daily dose is 1g.
Child Dosing (Oral):
- Children under 8 years: Not recommended.
