ACTIVE-P Tablet is a combination of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol, designed to provide effective relief from pain, inflammation, and fever. Main Uses:
- Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis
- Back pain, muscle pain, dental pain
- Fever and body aches
- Post-surgical pain and swelling
Mechanism of Action:
- Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
- Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, reducing pain and fever by acting on the brain’s heat-regulating center.
Dosage & Administration:
- Usually taken 1 tablet twice daily, after food
- Dosage should be based on medical advice, especially in long-term use
Side Effects:
- Nausea, stomach discomfort, or acidity
- Dizziness or skin rash (rare)
- Prolonged use may affect liver or kidney function in sensitive individuals
