ACAR-25MG contains Acarbose, an oral alpha-glucosidase inhibitor used in the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels by slowing down the digestion of carbohydrates in the intestines, thus reducing post-meal blood glucose spikes.
Indications:
- Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetic agents)
- Management of postprandial (after-meal) hyperglycemia
Benefits:
- Helps control blood sugar after meals
- Can be used alone or with other diabetes medications
- Non-systemic action – minimal absorption into the bloodstream

Dosage & Administration:
Typically 25 mg taken three times daily, at the start of each main meal, or as directed by a physician.
