Description
Rejutor 500, containing Levetiracetam, is an antiepileptic drug used to treat seizures in epilepsy. It is effective for partial-onset, myoclonic, and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and children above 6 years. By targeting SV2A proteins in the brain, Rejutor 500 reduces abnormal electrical activity, preventing seizure spread. Typically administered twice daily, it can be used alone or as adjunctive therapy. Its oral tablet form is convenient, taken with or without food. Common side effects include sleepiness, headache, and irritability, while serious effects like aggression or allergic reactions need prompt reporting.
