Description

Ray Shield SPF 15 100g is a protective sunscreen cream formulated to shield your skin from the damaging effects of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This broad-spectrum sunscreen contains a blend of active ingredients, including Octyl methoxycinnamate, Vitamin E acetate, Oxybenzone, Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (MBBT), and Aloe vera. These ingredients work synergistically to provide comprehensive protection against both UVA and UVB rays, which are known to cause sunburn, premature skin aging (like wrinkles and fine lines), and contribute to the risk of skin cancer.

The SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of 15 indicates that this cream blocks approximately 93% of harmful UVB rays. While SPF 15 is generally considered suitable for daily, incidental sun exposure, or when spending short periods outdoors, it’s a good foundation for sun protection. The inclusion of Vitamin E acetate offers antioxidant benefits, helping to protect skin cells from oxidative stress.
