Description
Pantop-D combines Pantoprazole (proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (antiemetic) to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, and associated nausea. Pantoprazole reduces stomach acid production, relieving heartburn and esophageal irritation, while Domperidone enhances gastric motility, reducing nausea and vomiting. Suitable for adults, it is taken orally, usually before meals, once or twice daily as prescribed. Pantop-D alleviates symptoms like bloating, indigestion, and acid-related discomfort, improving digestive health. Common side effects include headache, diarrhea, and dizziness, while serious risks like irregular heartbeat or seizures require immediate attention. It is contraindicated in patients with prolactinoma or severe liver disease. Prolonged use may increase fracture risk or vitamin B12 deficiency.
