Description
PANCARE DSR TAB is a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone in a delayed-release formulation, used to treat acid-related disorders. Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, reduces stomach acid production by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in the stomach lining, providing relief from acid reflux and ulcers. Domperidone, a prokinetic agent, enhances gastrointestinal motility and prevents nausea by blocking dopamine receptors. This combination is effective for adults with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, or dyspepsia. The delayed-release formulation ensures the drug is absorbed in the intestines, minimizing stomach acid interference. It is typically taken once daily, 30 minutes before a meal. Patients should avoid long-term use without medical supervision, as it may lead to nutrient deficiencies or other complications. Regular monitoring is advised for prolonged therapy.
