OPALEN GEL (Adapalene 0.1% Topical)

Indications:

  • Acne Vulgaris
  • Keratosis Pilaris

Dosage and Administration:

  • Adults: Apply a small (pea-sized) amount sparingly to the entire affected face once daily at night, after cleansing with a non-medicated cleanser.
  • Children: Consult a healthcare professional for appropriate dosing.

Method of Administration: For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, nostrils, and mucous membranes. Do not apply to cuts, abrasions, scaly or flaky skin, or sunburned skin.

Contraindications:

Mechanism of Action: Adapalene selectively binds to specific retinoic acid nuclear receptors. This binding normalizes the differentiation of follicular epithelial cells, leading to a reduction in microcomedone formation.
