Nupenta Tablet is prescribed for various acid-related conditions, including:

- NSAID-associated ulceration

Do not use Nupenta Tablet if you are:
- Using rilpivirine, atazanavir, or nelfinavir concomitantly.
- Lactating.
Precautions
- Gastric malignancy should be ruled out before starting treatment.
- Consider zinc supplementation during IV therapy for patients prone to zinc deficiency.
- Pregnancy: Use with caution.
- Monitoring: Monitor magnesium levels before starting and periodically during prolonged use.
- Lactation: It’s unknown if pantoprazole passes into breast milk; therefore, it’s not recommended during lactation.
Interactions
Nupenta Tablet can interact with other medications, potentially leading to:
- Increased risk of digoxin-induced cardiotoxic effects.
- Increased risk of hypomagnesaemia with diuretics.
- Increased INR and prothrombin time with warfarin.
- Increased serum concentration of methotrexate and saquinavir.
- Delayed absorption and decreased bioavailability with sucralfate.
- Decreased absorption of ketoconazole and itraconazole.
- Potentially Fatal: May decrease serum levels and pharmacological effects of rilpivirine, atazanavir, and nelfinavir.
