- Treats Melasma: Its main purpose is to lighten dark spots and even out skin tone.
- Sun Sensitivity: Makes skin extremely sensitive to sun. Strict sun protection (sunscreen SPF 30+ and protective clothing) is mandatory during treatment and afterwards.
- Prescription Only: Must be used under a doctor’s supervision.
- Application: Typically applied as a thin layer once daily at night.
- Side Effects: Common side effects include burning, stinging, redness, dryness, and peeling at the application site.
