HERVIR Cream is a topical antiviral medication primarily used to treat herpes simplex virus (HSV) infections, particularly cold sores (herpes labialis) on the lips and face.

• Active Ingredient: The main active ingredient in HERVIR Cream (and similar products like Herpavir, Herpex, or Zovirax) is Aciclovir (Acyclovir).
• How it Works: Aciclovir is an antiviral drug that works by preventing the herpes simplex virus from multiplying in skin cells, thereby helping to clear the infection and speed up healing.
• Uses:
  • Treating cold sores (herpes labialis).
  • May also be used for other localized skin infections caused by the herpes simplex virus, as advised by a doctor.
