Description
Grilinctus-BM Paediatric Syrup 30ml is a combination medication primarily used to relieve productive cough in children.
Main Uses
- Productive Cough: Helps in thinning and loosening mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough out.
- Bronchitis and Bronchospasm: Manages symptoms associated with acute and chronic bronchitis and bronchospastic disorders.
Active Ingredients
- Terbutaline (1.5 mg/5 ml): A bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles, widening the airways and easing breathing.
- Bromhexine (4 mg/5 ml): A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus, facilitating its expulsion.
Administration
- Dosage: As prescribed by your doctor, based on your child’s age and weight.
- Method: Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed dose using a proper measuring device.
- Timing: Can be taken with or without food, but it’s advisable to take it at the same time each day.
