Description
Fusimar-H Cream 15g is a topical medication combining Fusidic Acid (an antibiotic) and Hydrocortisone (a corticosteroid). It is used to treat bacterial skin infections accompanied by inflammation, such as infected eczema or dermatitis.
Main Uses:
- Treats infected eczema and dermatitis: Reduces inflammation and eliminates bacterial infection.
- Relieves symptoms: Alleviates redness, itching, and swelling associated with skin infections.
How It Works:
- Fusidic Acid: An antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing bacterial growth.
- Hydrocortisone: A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation by inhibiting the release of inflammatory substances.
Application:
- Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily, as directed by your doctor.
- For external use only; avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth.
Side Effects:
- Possible local reactions include skin irritation, redness, or a burning sensation.
Precautions:
- Not suitable for fungal or viral infections.
