Indications: Fucidin Ointment is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by Staphylococci, Streptococci, Corynebacterium minutissimum, and other fusidic acid-sensitive organisms. The most important indications include:

  • Impetigo
  • Boils
  • Abscess
  • Varicose ulcers
  • Skin grafts
  • Hidradenitis
  • Infected wounds
  • Sycosis barbae
  • Paronychia
  • Folliculitis
  • Carbuncles
  • Erythrasma

Dosage:

Adult Topical/Cutaneous Dose:

  • Skin infections: Apply a 2% ointment/cream/gel onto the affected area 3-4 times daily until improvement is observed. If a gauze dressing is used, the frequency of application may be reduced to 1-2 times daily.

Child Topical/Cutaneous Dose:
