Uses
Dalacin C 300 mg is prescribed for:
- Dental infections
- Respiratory tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Intra-abdominal infections
- Gynecological infections
- Bone and joint infections
- Pelvic inflammatory disease
- Bacterial vaginosis
- Toxic shock syndrome
- Endocarditis prophylaxis
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: Typically 150–450 mg every 6 hours; up to 1.8 g/day for severe infections
- Pediatric dosing: 10–25 mg/kg/day, divided every 8 hours
- Administration: Take with a full glass of water; swallow whole without chewing

Side Effects
- Common: Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, skin rash
- Serious (rare): Allergic reactions, pseudomembranous colitis (severe diarrhea), liver or kidney dysfunction
