Description
Canditral Capsules (10’s) contain itraconazole, a broad-spectrum antifungal used to treat systemic and superficial fungal infections. Itraconazole works by inhibiting fungal cell membrane synthesis, effective against conditions like aspergillosis, candidiasis, and dermatophytosis. The capsules are taken orally, usually with food, to enhance absorption, as prescribed. Canditral is suitable for nail infections, oral thrush, and systemic fungal infections but requires a prescription due to potential liver toxicity. Regular monitoring of liver function is recommended during prolonged use. Store in a cool, dry place, and complete the full course to prevent recurrence.
