Candid B Cream is a white to off-white cream supplied in a 20g tube. It is exclusively for external use on the skin. When applied, it should form a thin layer over the affected area, gently massaged until absorbed. Its dual action makes it effective against a range of fungal skin conditions where inflammation is also present. The clotrimazole component targets various types of fungi, including dermatophytes (which cause conditions like ringworm, athlete’s foot, and jock itch) and yeasts (like Candida albicans, responsible for candidiasis and vaginal thrush). The beclometasone component helps to quickly alleviate the irritating symptoms, providing comfort to the patient.

It is crucial to use Candid B Cream exactly as prescribed by a doctor, both in terms of dosage and duration. Even if symptoms improve quickly, completing the full course of treatment is important to ensure the infection is completely eradicated and to prevent recurrence.
