Description
Candid-B Cream is a topical medication combining Clotrimazole (an antifungal) and Beclometasone (a corticosteroid). It is primarily used to treat fungal skin infections accompanied by inflammation, such as redness, itching, and swelling.
Main Uses:
- Fungal skin infections: Effective against conditions like athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis).
- Inflammatory skin conditions: Helps reduce symptoms associated with eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis when these are complicated by fungal infections.
How It Works:
- Clotrimazole: Inhibits the growth of fungi by disrupting their cell membranes.
- Beclometasone: Reduces inflammation by suppressing the immune response, alleviating redness and itching.
Usage Instructions:
- Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).
- Ensure the skin is clean and dry before application.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.
