Description
Candibiotic Ear Drops are a combination medication containing chloramphenicol, beclomethasone, clotrimazole, and lignocaine, used to treat ear infections. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic that fights bacterial infections, while clotrimazole targets fungal infections. Beclomethasone, a corticosteroid, reduces inflammation, and lignocaine provides pain relief. The drops are instilled into the affected ear as prescribed, typically 2–3 times daily. Candibiotic is effective for mixed ear infections but requires a prescription due to antibiotic and steroid components. Avoid use in perforated eardrums to prevent complications. Store in a cool, dry place, and use within the prescribed duration.
