Description
Budecort 200 Inhaler contains Budesonide (200 mcg), a corticosteroid used for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps prevent breathing difficulties by reducing inflammation in the airways.
Main Uses:
- Prevents asthma symptoms like wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath.
- Manages COPD and reduces the frequency of flare-ups.
- Not used for sudden asthma attacks—requires a rescue inhaler for that.
How It Works:
Budesonide reduces inflammation and swelling in the lungs, making breathing easier and controlling symptoms over time.
Dosage & Usage:
- Usually taken twice daily, as prescribed.
- Shake well before use.
- Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral thrush.
Side Effects:
- Hoarseness or voice changes
- Throat irritation
- Cough
- Oral thrush
Precautions:
- Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
