Description
Airtec SF 250 Caps is a combination inhalation therapy containing Fluticasone, a corticosteroid, and Salmeterol, a long-acting beta-agonist (LABA), used for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Fluticasone reduces airway inflammation, while Salmeterol relaxes bronchial muscles, improving airflow. It is administered via an inhalation device, typically 1-2 capsules daily, as prescribed, for maintenance therapy, not for acute attacks. The capsule is placed in a device, pierced, and inhaled deeply. Side effects include hoarseness, throat irritation, or oral thrush, which can be minimized by rinsing the mouth after use. It is not suitable for patients with acute asthma or allergies to milk proteins. Patients with heart disease, diabetes, or seizures should use it cautiously. Regular monitoring of lung function and potassium levels is advised to ensure safe use.
