Indication:
- Treatment of chronic hepatitis B in adults and children aged 12 years and older with evidence of active viral replication and persistent elevations in serum aminotransferases (ALT or AST) or histologically active disease.
Dosage:
- The recommended dose is 10 mg orally once daily, with or without food.
Renal Impairment Adjustments:
- For patients with creatinine clearance (CrCl) between 30–49 mL/min, the dose is adjusted to 10 mg every 48 hours.
Side Effects:
