Description
Uses
Acular LS is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to:
- Relieve eye itching caused by seasonal allergies (allergic conjunctivitis)
- Reduce pain and inflammation following cataract surgery
- Alleviate ocular pain and burning/stinging after corneal refractive surgery
Dosage
- Allergic Conjunctivitis: 1 drop in the affected eye(s) every 6 hours
- Postoperative Inflammation: 1 drop four times daily, starting 24 hours after surgery for up to 4 days
- Corneal Refractive Surgery: 1 drop as needed for pain or discomfort, up to 4 days after surgery
Precautions
Consult your doctor before using Acular LS if you:
- Are allergic to ketorolac or its ingredients
- Have asthma, bleeding issues, or serious eye conditions
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to conceive
- Have liver or kidney problems
- Wear contact lenses (remove before use, reinsert after 15 minutes)
