Main Uses:
- Productive (wet) cough
- Bronchitis, pharyngitis, and other respiratory infections
- Chest congestion due to mucus
- Relief from throat irritation and difficulty in breathing due to thick sputum
Possible Ingredients (may vary depending on brand formulation):
- Guaiphenesin – Thins and loosens mucus
- Ambroxol – Mucolytic agent that helps clear airways
- Terbutaline – Bronchodilator to ease breathing
- Menthol – Soothing effect on throat
- Phenylephrine or Bromhexine – May also be included for nasal decongestion or enhanced mucus breakdown
Dosage & Administration:
- Adults: 10 ml, 2–3 times daily
- Children: 5 ml, 2–3 times daily
