ACNERIV Gel is a topical treatment for acne vulgaris, formulated to effectively target and reduce acne breakouts. Indications:
- Acne vulgaris (pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads)
- Inflammatory acne (papules and pustules)
- Helps to clear existing acne and prevent new breakouts
Mechanism of Action:
- Clindamycin: An antibiotic that helps eliminate acne-causing bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes), reducing inflammation and preventing bacterial growth.
- Adapalene: A retinoid that helps to normalize skin cell turnover, preventing clogged pores and reducing the formation of new acne lesions.
Directions for Use:
- Cleanse the skin with a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser
- Apply a thin layer of ACNERIV Gel directly to the affected areas
- Use once daily, preferably in the evening before bedtime
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
