Indications:
- Mild to moderate acne vulgaris
- Oily and acne-prone skin
- Blackheads and whiteheads
- Prevents recurrence of breakouts
Mechanism of Action:
Benzoyl Peroxide works by releasing oxygen into the skin pores, which kills acne-causing bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes). It also helps in exfoliating dead skin cells, reducing inflammation, and drying excess oil on the skin’s surface.
Directions for Use:
- Wet the skin with water
- Gently massage the soap onto affected areas (face, chest, or back)
- Leave on for a few seconds, then rinse thoroughly
- Use 1–2 times daily or as directed by a dermatologist
Side Effects:
- Mild skin dryness or peeling
- Redness or slight irritation (temporary)
- Increased sensitivity to sunlight
- Tip: Use a non-comedogenic moisturizer and sunscreen during the day.
