Uses:

How It Works:
- Olopatadine blocks histamine receptors and prevents the release of histamine from mast cells.
- This reduces symptoms like itching, redness, swelling, and watering.
How to Use:
- Wash your hands before using.
- Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid.
- Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily (usually morning and evening, about 8-12 hours apart).
- Don’t touch the dropper tip to your eye or any surface to avoid contamination.
- Close eyes gently after instillation and avoid blinking for a few seconds.
Precautions:
- Remove contact lenses before using the drops; wait at least 10–15 minutes before reinserting.
- Use the drops exactly as prescribed—do not overuse.
- If using other eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes between each one.
- Inform your doctor if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any eye infections.
Possible Side Effects:
- Mild burning or stinging
- Dry eyes or temporary blurred vision
